Bainbridge Island Bike Trip
Seattle, Washington has an extensive ferry system. One Saturday morning when I was living in Seattle, my friend Valerie and I took a ferry across the Puget Sound to Bainbridge Island. We spent the day cycling around Bainbridge Island and then, after dinner, grabbed the ferry back to Seattle.

Dave Donald; waking up.
The first time I was involved with video production was when a camera was brought along on a ski trip to Colorado. One morning, the camera was placed on the table at breakfast and captured a scene in which Dave Donald was still half-asleep. When reviewing the video later, I had an idea. What I saw in the video reminded me of the series of self-testing steps a machine goes through as it is powering up. I thought it would be amusing to add some background sound effects to the video.

Climbing Mt. Washington, Flume hike
On my first visit to Mt. Washington in 1995, I drove my car up the mountain. I decided that it would be more fun to hike up the mountain than to drive up it. So, I returned to New Hampshire one weekend in the fall of 1996 to hike up the Pinkam notch to the summit of Mt. Washington. We climbed Mt. Washington on Saturday and then hiked through the Flume Gorge on Sunday.

Boulder, Colorado - Mtn. Biking
I was in Boulder, Colorado on business one week. On Saturday, I stopped in town and rented a mountain bike. Then I was off to the Walker Ranch for a mountain bike adventure.

Crash Masters for 1994
There are certain risks associated with any activity. Being captured on video when you fall down is one of those risks. I went through my video library of skiing, ice skating, snowboarding, and Mt. Biking and compiled the scenes of people falling down.

Letchworth Park, Autumn Hike
In the Finger Lakes region of Upstate New York is Letchworth State Park. The Genesee River runs through the park and has carved out a gorge that is referred to as the Grand Canyon of the east. I wanted to hike through the park in September to take in the beauty of the autumn foliage. I mentioned my plans to some friends and ended up organizing a hike to Letchworth.

"The River" Video Compilation
In the year 1995, I saw a lot of interesting sites and went on a number of adventures. I took some time to compile brief glimpses from those various outings into one 3-minute video. This includes clips from Crater Lake, Mt. St. Helens, North Cascade Highway, Arches National Park, Slick Rock trial … etc.
